Corner Cupboard

An outstanding early George Third, mahogany, double height corner cupboard, circa 1770.

  • The scrolled and fluted pediment centred with a carved classical urn, and set above a dentilled and veneered cornice and two sets of twin doors, each of which has an oval veneered panel of the finest birchings and set within a chequer lined banding.
  • The bracket feet are original to the piece.
  • The interior retains it’s original green and gold banded painted colour scheme, which is a rare survival in it’s own right.
  • Exceptional quality and original condition.
