George lll Mahogany Tripod Table circa 1770

An interesting George lll Mahogany tripod table circa 1770 in good condition and rich colour.  The rectangular top has angled and carved edges with line inlay.  The turned column base has well carved legs ending in slipper feet.  Most unusually the top slides from the base  rather than the normal tilt mechanism, and this is an entirely original feature.  The base has some indistinct writing with either some history of the table and or it’s one time owner.
