A Pair of 18th Century Chairs in Oak

A pair of mid 18th century chairs of Chippendale design, unusually in oak.  The shaped ad carved cresting rails above open interlaced splats, centred by a small rosette.  Drop in seats covered in old needlework.  Cabriole legs with acanthus carving to the knees, ending in ball and claw feet.  Period – late George ll / early George lll, 1750-1760.
